If I had a young tike attending Jane Elliots fire in the second grade I wouldnt involve them to take over the experiment.  I think that a childs mind is not solid enough and this might scar them emotionally and mess with their ego.  I think parents definitely have the right to determine whether or not their child participates in this experiment.  I think it is forbid that they do the experiment without a parental consent.  The pain that the children whitethorn experience is not worth the lessons they may learn from the project.  I cant see how any parent would pauperization their child to participate.  The lessons conditioned in this experiment will be revealed to both sides of the children when they claim older and more mature and can understand more.  I would think that the person doing the experiment would feel for these children and not wishing to do it.  I cant see myself be this teacher having to couch these poor children through the pain and tormen t for some experiment. If I were to have a young child in Jane Elliots second grade class, I do not send that I would let them be included in the experiment. I believe that children are forming strong thoughts and opinions that will stay with them their solid life.
